LPC Dongle on DBE60
From ThinCan
Thincan DBE60 had Samtec SEI-110 compatible LPC connector pads on the PCB. Artec FlexyIce dongles and DBE61+ models have 2x5 pin 2.54mm pitch pin header LPC connectors. To bootstrap DBE60 using FlexyIce, you must build yourself LPC cable for DBE60. The easiest way is just get a 2x5mm pin header connector with a flat cable attached to it (like the old PC COM port cables from motherboard to the port on the back of the case were) and solder the wires to DBE60 board. Keep the cable short! No modifications to the FlexyIce dongle is neccesary. Alternatively, user could program a LPC "memory read"-type flash chip (found on many motherboards), build a cable to interface it to ThinCan and use that instead of the dongle to bootstrap ThinCans.

To enable booting from LPC header, add a 300-ohm bootstrap resistor on the cable between the DBE60 connector pins 1-2 (VCC3V and CLK_LPC). If this is a removable cable, the resistor could be on the cable (when cable is connected, LPC is enabled). If the cable is soldered to DBE60, the resistor should be switchable to select between internal DoC boot and external LPC boot.
